Die Stalle - Room 16

Die Stalle

What was once the stables at Zomerlust is now a four-room bolthole in the gardens – a stone’s throw from the pool area and a boldly dressed private idyll. Die Stalle is also ideal for families or groups staying together.

The experience here is one of gentle elevation, where treetop views, soft textures and a restful muted palette create a space perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Reached via the original staircase of Die Stalle, this room looks out over the garden, trees and a view that shifts with the seasons. Bespoke carpeting runs underfoot while the muted palette keeps the room feeling calm and unhurried. Here, rich red cupboards are a considered echo of the building's original exterior, while the bathroom brings a pop of chic personality to the experience. This room shares the building’s signature design sensibility, somewhere between a country estate and a pattern-lover's dream.

Guests who appreciate elevated garden views, soft tones and the particular stillness of an upper-floor room.

Each room offers a carefully curated collection of comforts, including climate-controlled air conditioning, a flat-screen television with DStv, an in-room safe and seamless Wi-Fi connectivity. Guests are further treated to a complimentary minibar with selected snacks, laundry service, and breakfast at SMEUL Restaurant, where seasonal, fire-inspired dishes set the tone for the day ahead.
