Die Stalle - Room 15
Die Stalle
What was once the stables at Zomerlust is now a four-room bolthole in the gardens – a stone’s throw from the pool area and a boldly dressed private idyll. Die Stalle is also ideal for families or groups staying together.
The experience here is one of quiet retreat, where a restful colour palette, soft carpeting and elevated garden views create a space that feels removed from the ordinary.
Up the refurbished original staircase, this sanctuary boasts views over the garden and the Paarl landscape beyond. Bespoke carpeting underfoot is a tactile constant of the
Zomerlust upper floors, bringing a cosy continuity to this delightful room. The palette here is deliberately muted and restorative, a considered counterpoint to the bolder ground-floor rooms below. Red cupboards offer a recurring nod to the building's original exterior and its history.

Guests who appreciate elevated garden views, soft tones and the particular stillness of an upper-floor room.
Each room offers a carefully curated collection of comforts, including climate-controlled air conditioning, a flat-screen television with DStv, an in-room safe and seamless Wi-Fi connectivity. Guests are further treated to a complimentary minibar with selected snacks, laundry service, and breakfast at SMEUL Restaurant, where seasonal, fire-inspired dishes set the tone for the day ahead.
