Die Stalle - Room 12

Die Stalle

What was once the stables at Zomerlust is now a four-room bolthole in the gardens – a stone’s throw from the pool area and a boldly dressed private idyll. Die Stalle is also ideal for families or groups staying together.

The experience here is one of considered luxury, where heritage detail, bold pattern and craftsmanship create a storied atmosphere.

This room includes a private veranda and occupies the ground floor of the oldest building at Zomerlust, a building that wears its history with pride. The original red of the exterior was uncovered during renovation and has been drawn into the interior palette, giving the entire building and this room a sense of warmth and drama.

The décor is a love child of pattern, colour and confident eclecticism. William Morris wallpaper covers the ceiling, while the bathroom is its own statement, featuring checked tilework in grey, charcoal and red, and bold black quartz in the shower. A freestanding accent bath completes this bold offering.

Best suited for:

Couples who love green, garden-inspired interiors, mountain views and access to outdoor terrace space.

Each room offers a carefully curated collection of comforts, including climate-controlled air conditioning, a flat-screen television with DStv, an in-room safe and seamless Wi-Fi connectivity. Guests are further treated to a complimentary minibar with selected snacks, laundry service, and breakfast at SMEUL Restaurant, where seasonal, fire-inspired dishes set the tone for the day ahead.
